Our Background
BELFON FOUNDATION, whose full name stands for Better Life For the Needy Foundation, is a community-based non-governmental organization fully registered with the Kenya Government. As an indigenous foundation, it was initiated in February 2012 by Isaac Oron from Kisumu County and officially registered with the Kenya government in May 2013..
From its inception, BELFON FOUNDATION has been dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable populations within and around the community. The organization's primary objective was to provide essential education services to children, support vulnerable families, and establish an orphanage recreation center, school, and empowerment programs for needy families.
what we do
To achieve these goals, the foundation engaged in various activities such as community mobilization and sensitization, home visits and healthcare services, monitoring and support supervision of vulnerable families, and resource mobilization and planning. Over the years, BELFON FOUNDATION has grown its initiatives, continually striving to create a positive and lasting impact on the communities it serves.
